The correct XOD series depends on your vehicle type, brake layout, riding conditions and required braking performance.

For electric scooter upgrades, start with the XOD H-Series Universal Hydraulic Brake Kit .

H800 and H880 are different hydraulic caliper configurations designed for different mounting directions and brake layouts.

Do not choose H800 or H880 only by looking at the left or right side of the vehicle. Correct fitment depends on the wheel position, brake disc side, caliper mounting position, front fork or rear swingarm structure, rotor size, hose routing and brake lever connector.

Common reference fitment is G4 front H880 / rear H800, G2 Max front H800 / rear H880, and the commonly referenced 2025 G2 Master front H880 / rear H880.

Always confirm the actual scooter production version and brake layout before ordering. Fitment can vary by model year, brake disc side and caliper structure.

Two-piston hydraulic brakes are suitable for many daily commuter e-bikes and electric scooters.

Four-piston systems such as selected XOD GT and F Series options are better suited to applications requiring greater clamping force and heat control, including high-power e-bikes, heavier vehicles and demanding off-road use.

Many XOD electric scooter hydraulic brake kits support motor cut-off sensor connections.

Connector type varies by vehicle, so compare your original brake lever connector before ordering. A physically similar connector does not always guarantee electrical compatibility.

Yes. Selected XOD hydraulic brake configurations can be prepared according to vehicle-specific requirements.

Custom specifications may include:

• caliper orientation;
• internal caliper piston configuration;
• other confirmed vehicle-specific fittings or requirements.

XOD first reviews your vehicle information and customization requirements. We then confirm the proposed specifications and estimated preparation time.

Final specifications can be confirmed in writing through Email, WhatsApp or Website Chat.

Custom preparation starts after the required specifications and confirmation have been completed.

There is no single universal preparation time for every customized brake configuration.

The estimated preparation or production time is normally confirmed in writing before customization begins.

Once the final specifications are confirmed and XOD confirms that customization or production preparation has started, change-of-mind cancellation is generally not accepted where permitted by applicable law.

If XOD produces a configuration that materially differs from the final written specifications, contact us so we can provide an appropriate remedy.

Experienced riders or mechanics may install XOD hydraulic brakes themselves, but hydraulic brake installation requires careful fitment, hose routing, caliper alignment and testing.

If the hose is disconnected, shortened or adjusted, brake bleeding may be required.

XOD hydraulic brake systems use mineral oil.

Do not substitute DOT fluid unless a specific brake system explicitly specifies it. Using incompatible hydraulic fluid can damage seals and other hydraulic components.

Bleeding may be needed if the lever feels soft or spongy, air has entered the hydraulic system, the hose was opened or shortened, or hydraulic service has been performed.

Yes, when the brake configuration allows it and the procedure is performed correctly.

The hose must be cut cleanly, compatible fittings must be installed correctly, and the hydraulic system may require bleeding afterward.

Incorrect hose cutting, fitting installation or routing can cause leaks or braking failure.

Correct hose shortening does not automatically void unrelated XOD warranty coverage.

However, leakage or damage caused by incorrect cutting, fittings, routing, abrasion or reassembly is not covered by the voluntary commercial warranty.

Replacement pads must match your caliper pad shape and intended riding conditions.

• Resin or ceramic pads can provide quieter braking for lighter daily use.
• Copper-based or multi-metal options balance braking power, durability and heat control.
• Sintered or full-metal pads are suited to more demanding riding and higher wear conditions.

Not every brake upgrade requires a larger rotor or rotor spacer. The requirement depends on rotor diameter, hub position, caliper clearance and mounting geometry.

XOD offers universal brake rotors and a 44mm 6-Bolt Disc Brake Rotor Spacer in 4mm and 5mm thicknesses for compatible applications.

CBS means Combined Braking System. A linked braking setup coordinates braking force between multiple wheels to support more balanced braking behavior.

CBS is especially relevant to electric trikes, cargo trikes and utility vehicles.

Eligible standard in-stock orders typically require about 1-2 business days processing and approximately 6-10 business days carrier transit.

Under normal conditions, the typical total delivery window is approximately 7-12 business days.

Customized and backordered products may require additional preparation time. See the XOD Shipping Policy .

No. 24H Dispatch refers to eligible warehouse fulfillment speed, not 24-hour international delivery.

It applies only to selected standard in-stock orders and does not automatically apply to customized, backordered or confirmation-required orders.

An eligible standard product may still qualify for a change-of-mind return if it remains unused, uninstalled and unmodified.

For customer ordering errors, the customer normally arranges and pays international return shipping and any customer-responsible customs-related charges actually incurred.

Installed, used, hose-cut, hydraulically opened or otherwise modified brakes are generally not eligible under XOD's voluntary change-of-mind return policy.

Mandatory statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods remain unaffected.

For an eligible customer-initiated return, the customer normally arranges and pays the international return shipment to the authorized return location in China.

For many common small parcels, international return shipping may be approximately EUR 20-50 / USD 20-50. This is an estimate, not a fixed fee.

Customs clearance, brokerage, re-entry or carrier handling charges may also arise depending on the carrier and customs authority, but such charges do not occur on every return.

Eligible retail purchases from xodbrakes.com include a 12-month limited XOD commercial warranty for the main brake caliper body and main master-cylinder / hydraulic-pump body against verified manufacturing and workmanship defects.

Brake hoses, pads, rotors, connectors and other components follow component-specific coverage and wear rules.

The XOD commercial warranty does not replace mandatory statutory consumer rights.

If XOD sent the wrong product or a customized configuration materially differs from the final written specifications, XOD will review the issue and provide an appropriate remedy.

Depending on the verified problem, the remedy may include technical support, a correct component, remake, replacement or refund where another reasonable remedy cannot resolve the issue.

Custom-logo production may be available for qualifying volume projects.

Logo customization is not normally offered for ordinary small retail orders and requires a longer preparation or production schedule.

Exact quantity, lead time, technical feasibility and pricing should be confirmed with XOD before placing a custom-logo order.
