Q1: How do I know which XOD brake fits my scooter?
The correct XOD brake depends on your scooter model, brake disc side, caliper mounting position, front fork structure, rotor size, hose routing and brake lever connector. For KuKirin scooters, H800 and H880 selection can vary by front or rear wheel and model year. If you are not sure, check our H800/H880 Fitment Guide or send photos to XOD before ordering.
Q2: What is the difference between XOD H800 and H880?
XOD H800 and H880 are different hydraulic caliper versions designed for different mounting directions. For the rear wheel, the brake disc side is usually easier to judge. For the front wheel, you also need to check the front suspension type and caliper position. Do not choose H800 or H880 only by looking at the left or right side.
Q3: Do XOD brakes fit KuKirin G4, G2 Master or G2 Max?
Yes, XOD H-Series hydraulic brakes support many KuKirin models, including KuKirin G4, G2 Master and G2 Max. However, fitment may vary by model year and brake layout. For common setups, KuKirin G4 usually uses H880 for the front and H800 for the rear, KuKirin G2 Max usually uses H800 for the front and H880 for the rear, and KuKirin G2 Master should be checked by version before ordering.
Q4: Do XOD hydraulic brakes include a motor power-off sensor?
Yes. Many XOD electric scooter hydraulic brake kits include a brake lever with a 2-pin power-off sensor connector. When compatible with your scooter, the sensor helps cut motor power when the brake lever is pressed. Please check your original brake lever connector before ordering.
Q5: Can I install XOD hydraulic brakes myself?
Experienced riders or mechanics may install the kit themselves, but hydraulic brake installation requires care. You need to route the hose correctly, align the caliper, check the rotor, connect the power-off sensor and test the brake safely before riding. If the hydraulic hose is disconnected, shortened or adjusted, bleeding may be required. Beginners should ask a professional installer for help.

A: Please send clear photos of your scooter model, front wheel brake disc side, rear wheel brake disc side, caliper mounting position, front fork or rear swingarm structure, brake lever connector and hose routing. These photos help XOD confirm whether H800, H880 or another hydraulic brake setup is suitable before you order.
