Mounting Type Note

H800 and H880 are different caliper versions. A-Type and B-Type mounting needs depend on the scooter brake layout and wheel position. Please check your scooter’s caliper mount and brake disc side before ordering.

1. Default lever setup:
By default, the left brake lever controls the rear brake, and the right brake lever controls the front brake. If you need a custom setup, contact XOD before installation.

2. Installation experience:
This kit requires careful installation. Many kits are described as pre-bled. Before opening a hose, confirm the exact fittings, component order and replacement requirements. After reconnection, inspect for leaks and check lever pressure; bleed as required by the installation guide and complete a controlled low-speed test before riding.

3. Ausom spacer note:
Confirm the exact Ausom model, version and wheel position before selecting any rotor spacer. A rotor spacer, axle spacer and caliper mounting washer are different parts. The required thickness, bracket, fasteners and sensor adapters have not been confirmed for every listed configuration. Do not copy the KuKirin 4mm or 5mm rules or assume those accessories are included with this brake option.

Q1: Does this fit my Ausom model?
This Ausom upgrade area is intended for compatible Ausom electric scooters, including Gosoul 2 series, K20 series, DT2 Pro, SR1, F1 Max and selected L-series models. Fitment may vary by model year, brake disc side and mounting structure. If unsure, contact XOD with photos before ordering.

Q2: Which kit should I choose?
Choose the exact model and motor version, then front, rear or front + rear brakes. The listed K20 Pro Dual Motor option uses H800 on both wheels; K20 Pro Single Motor and the other listed Ausom options use front H880 / rear H800. These are sales configurations, not verification of every production version. Confirm the actual mount, rotor, sensor and required accessories before fitting.

Q3: Can I ride in the rain?
The brake system is designed with a sealed structure for normal riding conditions, but avoid deep water, pressure washing and long-term water immersion. Always check braking performance after wet rides.

Q4: Does the package include brake pads?
The current product description lists brake pads as included, usually pre-installed. This does not establish the contents of every mounting-accessory package. Check alignment, clearance, contamination and lever pressure before riding; noise is not automatically bedding-in, and no fixed riding distance guarantees it will disappear. Stop if there is severe rubbing, poor wheel rotation, a soft or inconsistent lever or a hydraulic leak.

Q5: Can beginners install this kit?
Beginners should be careful. Hydraulic brake installation affects riding safety. If you are not familiar with hose routing, caliper alignment or bleeding, ask an experienced installer for help.
